Growing Stems in our backyard garden is similar to life (ie.roller coasters of challenges and growth bringing forth new opportunities and accomplishments)

In 2022 we started transitioning our backyard into an area where we could have a large vegetable garden.. In 2024 we began growing flowers as we still continued transforming our little yard into an urban flower farm.

We plan for 2025 to grow a variety of cut flowers, herbs, as well as reintroduce some veggies this year that we missed growing last year. We use native plants, for our local pollinator and don’t spray pesticides, we are experimenting with cover crops and growing our own organic compost to use for nurturing the soil. Here’s to a second year of growing Searcy Stems!!!
